How to play Perceptle Unlimited.
Look closely, make your best estimate, then use the feedback to improve. Perceptle Unlimited is an independent game with unlimited practice, custom sessions and challenges you can share with a friend.
Start with a complete set
A standard set runs through Count, Track, Angle, Tempo and Split. Read the round’s instructions and press Ready when you are prepared. Submit an answer, review the target and your error, then continue. The result screen shows your average score, grade and a breakdown by skill.
In Custom, choose one to five skills, a difficulty and one to five sets, then press Start challenge. A set contains one round for each selected skill, up to 25 rounds in a session. Easy and Hard change the generated targets or the time and information available; they are practice settings, so compare results with the same settings.
Count: estimate the dots
Press Ready and look at the dot field. When it disappears, enter a whole-number count and submit. Try estimating small groups instead of counting every dot in sequence. On Standard, normal Count displays 45–85 dots for two seconds.
Friday: the dots move during the display, which lasts 2.6 seconds on Standard. They remain the same group of dots as they cross the field; do not add together several snapshots. Easy gives longer exposure and a smaller range; Hard gives shorter exposure and a larger range.
Track: predict the landing
Watch the moving projectile until it disappears. Tap or drag to select where it will meet the landing line, or use the position slider. Adjust your marker if needed, then submit. Follow both its horizontal motion and the shape of the arc.
Friday: the projectile ricochets from the side walls. Continue the reflected path after it disappears. Its first direction alone does not determine which side of the field it will reach.
Angle: turn to the target
Read the requested angle and drag the handle counterclockwise from the starting direction, or use the numeric angle control. You can adjust your selection before submitting. A normal round measures the shortest circular difference: directions close to 0° and 360° are close together.
Friday: complete the full requested number of turns. A target of 450° means one full counterclockwise turn plus 90°. Stopping at 90° points the same way but is 360° short. The complete-turn counter helps you keep track. The optional Keyboard / precise training controls section provides numeric input.
Tempo: keep the beat
Start the round with sound enabled. Listen to four loud reference beats, then make eight continuation taps using Tap or the Space key. No warm-up taps are needed. In normal mode, continue where the next regular beats would fall. Keep a steady interval rather than speeding up after a late tap. Your eighth tap completes and scores the round automatically.
Friday: quiet halfway ticks between the four loud reference beats demonstrate the offbeat. When the sound stops, tap halfway between the continuing beats. At 100 BPM, beats are 600 ms apart: the first Friday tap is 300 ms after the final reference beat, then the next seven are each 600 ms apart. This changes the phase, not the tapping frequency.
Split: place the fraction
Read both the fraction or percentage and the named starting endpoint. Tap or drag to select the position, or use the keyboard-operable position slider, then submit. From the right means measure leftward from the right endpoint: 25% from the right is 75% of the way from the left.
Friday: fractions exceed one whole line. Use the space beyond the endpoints. For 3/2 from the left, move one whole line length to the right endpoint, then another half line beyond it. From the right, the same fraction extends half a line past the left endpoint. The original line length remains the measuring unit.
Play the same challenge as a friend
A challenge carries the seed, mode, difficulty, selected skills and set count. Choose your settings and press Create a share link, or copy a challenge link after a completed session. Open a friend’s link, or paste it into Challenge link or code on the challenge page and press Load challenge. Matching settings generate matching targets.
After finishing, choose Copy comparison code and send it to your friend. Paste their code into Friend’s comparison code and choose Compare result to see the results side by side. Use Copy score for readable text or Download score card for an SVG image.
Each player completes the challenge independently. Shared results are self-reported. There is no live opponent, verified global leaderboard or population percentile, and different devices can still produce different timing conditions.
Keep your progress
History keeps records in this browser for this website. Use Save & leave to leave a session and Resume saved set to continue from the last completed round. Export completed records before clearing browser data or changing devices. A round interrupted before submission must be played again.
